1. Introducing On-line Submission System
Manuscripts can be submitted on-line at the KBM
web site of http://www.kormb.or.kr
since January 2002. Submission from abroad could
be made via mail: two copies of each manuscripts
with tables and figures and one copy of the original
line drawings or photographs should be submitted
with a computer file of the manuscript in IBM-compatible
format (preferably MS Word) to the following address.

2. KBM co-host GIM 2002
KBM will co-host 9th International Symposium on
the Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms
(GIM 2002, http://www.gim2002.or.kr)
held in Hyundai Hotel, Gyeongju, Korea from July
1(Mon.)
to 5(Fri.), 2002. All members of KBM are encouraged
to attend GIM and welcome.
3. KMB elected a new president for coming year Professor Lee Chul Ho of Korea University was elected as a new president for the next term, starting Jaunuary 2005.
